Welcome to the New PGSCTNE Website!
We are excited to introduce you to the new website for the Polish Genealogical Society of Connecticut and the Northeast, Inc!
This website has been in development for several months and we can’t wait to share it with all of you! It was intended to have a clean, modern design that will look good on your computer, phone or tablet.
We also made many improvements for visitors, including:
- Easier searching of genealogy records in our databases
- Better display and filtering of search results
- Interactive calendar for upcoming events
- News and informational stories highlighted on Home page
- Updated research guide for beginners
- Updated history essays
- Monthly bulletin sign-up available
Everything on the old website was reviewed, updated and refreshed before it was moved.
As you can imagine, this was a very large effort!
But we hope you will enjoy visiting the new website when it launches and come back regularly to see what new information is added. We also have plans to continue improving it, including making membership sign-ups and renewals available online.
As we approach the 35th anniversary of our society we look forward to the future and hope this new website will provide us with a better platform to attract new members and serve our existing ones!
