The World Language Academy – Online
A program of the Polish Genealogical Society of Connecticut and the Northeast, is again sponsoring eight-week Polish language classes this year starting in January 2022.
The instructor is Prof. Jonathan Shea, a university professor of foreign languages who holds Connecticut teacher certification in several foreign languages as well as English as a Second Language and Bilingual Education. He is also an accredited genealogist.
Speaking the language will enable you to communicate with relatives in Poland and familiarize you with the grammar of the language which will help in reading records from Poland that you will encounter in the course of your research.
